Watercolor Artist | Instructor | Live Painter

Teresa Cook is a Jacksonville-based Abstract Architectural Watercolor artist whose work celebrates the beauty of structure and landscape through a minimalist lens. A 2012 BFA graduate from the University of North Florida, Teresa has spent over a decade developing her unique artistic voice, specializing in mini watercolor abstractions on Yupo paper. Her work intentionally excludes human figures, drawing attention to the natural and built environments in their purest form.

Her creative journey has taken her across the globe, including a standout experience at the 2019 Urban Sketchers Symposium in Amsterdam and a rich exploration of Puerto Rico in 2021. Whether she's sketching on the streets or teaching in the studio, Teresa brings a distinct energy and depth to everything she does.

In addition to her studio practice, Teresa is a dedicated instructor, sharing her passion for watercolor and ink with aspiring artists throughout the Jacksonville area. Her live painting sessions, often showcased under the theme “Watch Me Work,” invite audiences to witness her process in real time.

She will have an exhibit coming up at the Ritz Theatre and Museum, in December 2025.
