Sara Quintero, Founder of KarmaChic Marketplace

Hi, I’m Sara Quintero, the founder of KarmaChic Marketplace! My journey began with a passion for fashion, leading me to study Fashion Merchandising at Florida State University. Growing up in South Tampa, I always dreamed of creating a space that celebrated unique style and entrepreneurship.

In 2014, I opened the doors to my first brick-and-mortar store, an upscale consignment shop that thrived on curating beautiful, high-quality pieces. However, by January 2018, I made the difficult decision to close the store as the rise of e-commerce presented challenges that brick-and-mortar couldn’t compete with. But the dream didn’t end there.

I always had a vision to pivot online, not only to continue my love for fashion but to create a platform for local artisans and small businesses to showcase their talents and thrive in the digital marketplace. Life and family took center stage for a while, but that voice in the back of my mind kept encouraging me to pursue this business.

After the pandemic and more life experiences, I knew it was time. In December 2023, I finally took the leap to bring KarmaChic Marketplace to life. My mission is simple: to provide a platform that empowers women owned small businesses and artisans, giving them the tools and community they need to start or grow their businesses. Whether you're just beginning your entrepreneurial journey or seeking new ways to market your brand, KarmaChic is here to support you.

I created KarmaChic to be more than just a marketplace—it's a community where business owners can share their stories, connect, and build something meaningful. I believe in the power of collaboration and storytelling, and I’m excited to see how KarmaChic can help businesses flourish in the digital age.
