Vendor Terms & Conditions
KarmaChic Marketplace (“KarmaChic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a platform and community for entrepreneurs, local artisans, service providers, and resale/consignment sellers (“Vendors”) to showcase offerings, tell their stories, and connect with customers.
Eligibility
- You are 18+ and authorized to operate your business.
- You provide accurate account, tax, and payout details.
- You comply with applicable laws and our policies.
Listings & Compliance
- Provide truthful, non-misleading product/service info, pricing, and availability.
- Follow all laws (including taxes, shipping regulations, labeling, and IP rights).
- Restricted items are not permitted; we may remove items that violate policy or law.
Orders, Fulfillment & Customer Care
- Ship on time using the method shown at checkout; upload tracking when available.
- Communicate clearly with buyers and resolve issues in good faith.
- Honor your stated return/refund policy (see “Refunds & Returns”).
Fees & Payouts
- Any platform fees, payment processing fees, or commissions will be disclosed during onboarding or within your Vendor Dashboard.
- Payout timing may depend on your payment processor and risk checks.
Intellectual Property in Vendor Content
- You own or have rights to all content you upload (text, images, video, logos).
- You grant KarmaChic a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and promote your content on the platform and in marketing.
- We may remove content alleged to infringe others’ rights. See “Disclaimers & DMCA.”
Account Controls
- We may pause or remove listings or accounts that violate policies or law.
- You may request account closure by contacting us; obligations for open orders survive closure.
By listing or selling on KarmaChic, you agree to these Terms & Policies and any updates we post here.
Community & Content Guidelines
We are a values-driven community that prioritizes respect, integrity, and inclusion. Please:
- Use clear, respectful language; no harassment, hate, or illegal activity.
- Share only content you own or are authorized to use.
- Avoid medical, legal, or financial claims unless you’re licensed and the claims are accurate and compliant.
- Represent your brand honestly (pricing, discounts, results, before/after claims, etc.).
Shipping & Delivery
- Processing time: Vendors state their processing windows on each listing.
- Methods & costs: Displayed at checkout; international duties/taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless noted.
- Tracking: Provided when available. Contact the Vendor first for delivery questions.
- Non-delivery/loss: We’ll work with the Vendor and buyer to resolve in good faith per carrier status and proof of shipment.
Refunds & Returns
Each Vendor sets return/refund terms. Unless a listing says otherwise:
- Contact the Vendor within 3 days of delivery for issues.
- Items must be unused and in original condition (unless defective).
- Custom, digital, perishable, and personal-care items may be final sale.
- Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.
Intellectual Property & AI Use
The KarmaChic website and all content—text, graphics, logos, videos, designs, and proprietary concepts—are protected by U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal penalties.
AI Tool & Dataset Restrictions
All content published on this website—including text, images, blog posts, product listings, videos, and interviews—is the intellectual property of KarmaChic Marketplace unless otherwise noted. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or processing of our content through AI or machine-learning tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar systems) is prohibited. We do not grant permission for our content to be used in AI training datasets, outputs, summaries, or derivative works without our explicit written consent.
These protections help safeguard the creativity, originality, and voices of the entrepreneurs featured on our platform.
Privacy Policy (Summary)
We collect information you provide (account details, orders, messages), technical data (cookies, device info), and limited third-party data for payments, analytics, and fraud prevention. We use this to run the marketplace, support Vendors and customers, improve services, and comply with laws.
- Sharing: With payment processors, shipping partners, service providers, and as required by law. We don’t sell personal data.
- Your choices: Manage email preferences, cookie settings (where applicable), and request access, correction, or deletion as permitted by law.
- Security: We use reasonable safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

Disclaimers, DMCA & Limitation of Liability
- Marketplace model: Many listings are provided by independent Vendors; products/services are the Vendor’s responsibility.
- No warranties: Services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
- Limitation: To the extent allowed, KarmaChic’s liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the 3 months before the claim.
- IP/DMCA: If you believe content infringes your rights, email us (see Contact) with: your contact info, the work identified, the allegedly infringing material URL, a statement of good-faith belief, and your signature. We may remove content or disable accounts consistent with applicable law.
